    Shrine

My name is Mel Prussack and I am the curator of “The Dylan Shrine” - a private museum celebrating the work of Bob Dylan.


My Dylan resume is as follows:

  1. •First person to capture Bob Dylan on film in the 70’s and beyond.

  2. •Letters and/or articles in all the Dylan fanzines (at least the ones in English).

  3. •Two time winner of the “Dylan Imitators Contest” in Greenwich Village  (in spite of the fact I never “imitated” Bob, but wrote parodies about his life) .

  4. •Interviewed and performed on the Bob Fass show (Radio Unnameable) on WBAI-FM. 

  5. •Appeared in the film on fans of rock and roll at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

  6. •Appeared on a local cable television show to explain and show my Dylan museum.

  7. •Interviewed and performed on WMCX-FM college radio station.

  8. •Interviewed by senior producer Art Silverman for his show “All Things Considered”. To hear show go to “National Public Radio” .

  9. •Appears In “Bob Dylan’s 30th Anniversary Celebration Concert” entering Madison Square Garden.

  10. •Appears in the book “Encounters With Bob Dylan” by Tracy Johnson.

  11. •Photographer for the concert footage in the DVD’s “Rolling Thunder and The Gospel Years” The DVD “Bob Dylan Revealed”  and “Bob Dylan Never ending Tour Diaries-”Drummer Winston Watson’s Incredible Journey”. 

  12. •Producer of the Bob Dylan parody podcast “Dyl-Time Theme Radio Hour”.
